About the Association:
Definition and origin
The Saudi Association for mathematical Sciences (SAMS) is a scientific body dealing with mathematic in all its specialized branches and its teaching and educational methods.
It was
established with the approval of the Scientific Council of King Saud University
in 1405 H and held its Constituent Assembly on 8/ 8/1413 H.
The
first meeting of the first board of directors was held on Wednesday, August 26,
1413 at the mathematics department of King Saud University.
Since
the establishment of the association it has been offering its activities while
serving mathematics and teaching it to all levels and stages.
